What is River Rock?
River rock is naturally tumbled stone with soft color variation, available in 1-2 inch and 3-5 inch sizes. It is a premium decorative rock for landscape beds, water features, borders, and dry creek beds, and its natural color holds up in harsh UV exposure where dyed mulches fade.
Use the 1-2 inch size for planting beds and edging, and the 3-5 inch size where you want a bolder statement: around palms, in dry creek beds, or as a long-lasting alternative to mulch in large beds. Like all rounded stone, it does not compact, so it is decorative, not structural.
