What is Drain Rock?
Drain rock is a 1-1/2-inch washed angular stone engineered for one job: moving water. The washing removes fines and dust, so every void between the large pieces stays open and water flows through at full capacity.
It is the specified stone for septic drain fields, curtain drains, retention areas, and foundation drainage — exactly the applications our high-water-table soil demands. Because it is clean and open-graded, it will not compact: use it where water goes, not where vehicles drive.
