Rip rap is large armor stone placed along shorelines, canal banks, and slopes to absorb wave action and storm runoff. The irregular, heavy pieces interlock and stay put where smaller rock would wash away.

We stock three size ranges: 8-12 inch for lighter banks and culvert outlets, 12-18 inch for general shoreline and canal work, and big 20-30 inch stone for heavy erosion exposure. Tell us what water conditions the rock will face and we will help you size it.
