Fill Dirt #2 is unscreened fill dirt at an economical price. It is the practical pick for raising grade, filling low areas, rough grading, and backfill — jobs where the dirt goes deep or gets covered, and screening would add cost without benefit.
Because it is not screened, do not use it where a clean finish matters, such as directly under sod or in planting areas. For screened, debris-free fill, use Clean Fill Dirt #1.
