What to Expect on Gravel Delivery Day
From the phone call to the finished pile: how aggregate delivery works, what to prepare, and what happens on delivery day.
Before the truck arrives
- Clear the drop zone. Move cars, equipment, toys, and anything breakable away from where the load will land.
- Measure access. The truck needs about 10 to 12 feet of clear width and no low overhead wires or branches along the path.
- Mark what matters. Flag sprinkler heads, septic components, or shallow utilities near the drop point so the driver can avoid them.

On delivery day
The driver reviews the drop point with you and places the load as close as access allows. Minimum order is 4 cubic yards, dumped where the truck can safely reach. Same-day delivery may be available on in-stock materials when you call or text before 4:00 PM Eastern.

After the dump
Spread and grade the material to finish the job: a landscape rake for beds and paths, a box blade or skid steer for driveways. If the truck cannot safely reach your site, we reschedule rather than risk damage to your property.
